How did it come out to be like this,
I was riding with my family and now I am under his knees,
he was a police officer, at least he was dressed like one…
but he carried inside a lowly demon,
lurking beneath, his loathing towards my color was unlike no one.
He grabbed me in the beginning, threw me out of my car!
I was caught by a surprise but I didn’t know that it can come this far…
I did not resist, I knew the handicap that comes with my color,
I played like a good convict, followed instructions tried not to cause any trouble.
He pushed me down,
like a mad dog, he shovelled my face to the ground!
I was already eating dust, but it was not enough to satisfy his blood lust.
He put his knees on my neck…damm that hurts!
and the countdown started …..
That pain I can’t explain, it was physical in the beginning but soon I started to question my existence!
I cried i uttered, I tried to express everything through my words.
“AAAA” oohh” every fucking letter that could reach them,
but they listened none,
I wondered “If it was that easy to not hear a black man’s words?”
“My neck hurts, my stomach hurts, everything hurts” I shouted!!
they couldn’t hear a single word or at least that’s how they acted.
It went numb from my body to my soul, a color can dignify a human worth living, and another an “eyesore”.
Blood started to come out from my nose “I am red just like your’s” the testament it proposed.
But just like my words, I bled in vain,
I could see my death coming, behind this immeasurable pain!!
“MAMA MAMA MAMA” I cried like a little child!!
As I realized, unlike these cops my dead mom was listening to me better!!.
Few minutes passed, but it felt like an hour,
I kept pleading and my mutilated throat went sour…
I gathered my strength,
for the last attempt,
To save my jeopardized soul.
I shouted, tried to tell them “I can’t breath, I can’t breath” but I guess they couldn’t stand against a halfdead Blackman.
And wushhhh! It went dark, I left my soul and gave up to the pain.
A man died on the footpath of a road, a death of nuisance!!
It was not an easy life! I fought hard, but this time I couldn’t make it,
despite my color, I was a human I thought, but society could not digest it!!
There must be hope somewhere, a light, sunshine, a ray…
but I could not see it in my lifetime… I hope that at least its a few decades away.
I wonder!! If I get justice or will they say…” it’s just another Blackman who passed away”

❤❤❤❤❤ the story is so beautifully put into words!
